The ChurchNet Foundation provides supplemental financial assistance to individuals struggling to pay utility costs – electricity, water, and gas, along with prescription medicine costs. Any financial assistance is paid directly to the individual utility. As part of the review process, individuals that may need assistance are required to personally visit the ChurchNet office during designated office hours.
When applying for assistance:
*At this time, ChurchNet only assists clients in the Wake Forest, Youngsville and Rolesville communities.
*Clients must complete an application (ChurchNet Financial Assistance Request Form) for assistance, provide a picture identification, and provide a copy of their most recent utility bill if applicable. The person requesting assistance must be listed on the associated utility account. Please be prepared to clearly explain why assistance is needed. Given limited financial resources, ChurchNet assists those individuals experiencing an emergency.
*Clients are expected to assist with a portion of the outstanding bill. As such, clients will be expected to show proof of payment prior to our pledge.
*If approved for financial assistance, all pledges are made to the respective utility.
*Important Note: Financial assistance is only available to individuals one time in 12 months.
